We have a home in Observatory Park and spend many weekends and summers on the western slope in Palisade, Colorado's wine country. I import and distribute fine wines through our Classic Wines wholesale business in Denver and we grow peaches, cherries and wine grapes at High Country Orchards overlooking the Colorado River in Palisade. Based on my "fondest memories of high school", I probably should have been a Public Defender or maybe a "repeat defender"! |

Birthday: June 10, 1955
City: Aurora State/Prov.: CO Occupation: Senior Technical Writer at Jeppesen Marital Status: Single No. of Children: 2 What is your fondest memory of high school?: Football games, Color Day, friends made and kept, school dances, wrestling and gymnastics meets, playing Dot in study hall with Scott V... So, pretty much anything unrelated to homework. From Roxane: My life seems fairly typical of many classmates, as I’ve experienced both many wonderful blessings and some heartaches. So life is good! The kids grew up. Brady is 28 and has a son, Gage (3-1/2). Luckily, he is nearby, so I see my grandson often and enjoy taking him places, spoiling him, and just spending time with him. It’s wonderful when a little kid is so happy to just be together, blowing bubbles. Whitney is 24, college-graduated, and working as a contractor. We frequently run away to Disney World and take fun daytrips, such as a recent “taffy emergency” that required driving to Estes Park. She convinces me it’s essential to see “Harry Potter” or “Pirates of the Caribbean” openings at midnight—on work nights. And we’re into balloon twisting. I’m very fortunate that she has become my best buddy. In 1998, after taking many gnarly I.T. classes (and seeing the benefits of finally achieving perfect grades), I made a career change. I accepted a terrific job at Microsoft, where I learned how to design, develop, and write highly technical system documentation from scratch. But staying would have required a move to Seattle, so after a year, I made another change. I have since been working at Jeppesen as a senior technical writer, primarily developing and writing a UNIX system administrator’s guide for a commercial flight dispatching application. It’s always interesting and frequently frustrating; documentation is always “the last guy on the stick.” It’s been great reconnecting with TJ people and comparing experiences. I’ve definitely rekindled some lasting friendships! |
