What is your fondest memory of high school?:  .
From Barb:

I've lived a great life even though it's been filled with tragedy.  My husband, daughter and son have all passed away.  I retired from being a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (worked at Swedish in Englewood) moved to Salida (until I lost my husband) then moved to Colorado Springs to start my new career in Real Estate.
I've been very involved in the non-profit world and have worked as a volunteer as well as an agency director.  I'm loving my new job here in "the Springs" and am pleased to report the market has recently picked up!
My fondest memories of high school include: smoking in the robe room and on "the hill" behind TJ; ditching school with Kathy to go riding; skiing with Kathy W(and family) & Karin; working at Southglenn and guitar with Gayle. ( By the way, I quit smoking.)
Check out my website and give me a call if you know someone who wants to buy or sell in Colorado Springs!

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  50's Assembly, Heartless Wonder, camping RMNP, Sunflowers, teachers who cared. Really, my fondest memories are the great friends who helped me through senior year when I lost my incredible Mom. I couldn't have made it without you- thanks.
From Kathy:

Hi everyone! It has been fun reading the bios on the website. It is hard to believe it has been 35 yrs since we graduated good old TJ! Life has been full, intense, amazing and wonderful for the most part.

After TJ, I graduated from CU with a BS in Nursing, and eventually an MBA. I'm still practicing, and have held various positions in Healthcare Administration. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with a number of international sister city projects and enjoy traveling. I still live in the Denver/Boulder area and will always be a Colorado girl in my heart.

I’m so fortunate to have the best family in the world. I’m divorced now, but am blessed with two wonderful daughters, Audrey and Lauren. Audrey is completing Vet School up at CSU and Lauren is studying to be a midwife. Lauren is a great Mom to two daughters of her own, Grace and Ahrielle, who are the lights of my life.  Grandma!

I’m looking forward to seeing you at the reunion Saturday night. We had a lot of good people in our class---I’m sure we still do!

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  Teachers who saved my life
From Danni:

Been hanging out in the nonprofit world for the past 18 + years, currently the Executive Director of Diana Price-Fish Cancer Foundation.  Also an adjunct faculty member at Metropolitan State College.

Family; one partner, two miniature longhaired dachshunds, one ancient cat.

Spare time spent…what spare time?  When we have it, in the mountains biking, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, and a new found passion for recreational kayaking.  Still as smart-alecky as ever, same sense of humor, still short, actually a lot like high school except much grayer and hopeful smarter and wiser, but that’s not a given.

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  Mr. Kingsley's ecology class with Melissa King and the Green river raft trip. Concerts especially at Red Rocks.
From Sue:
After meeting my husband of 33 years, who was also from Illinois, we moved to Kansas to continue education, got into the restaurant business which moved us form Kansas to New York to Texas, Denver and California. We'd been self employed with a pizza parlor in Hayward when we wanted the country life in Oregon. After moving here in 1989 we owned a small grocery market in Eugene for 11 years and I now work part time in banking and have cats, dogs, llamas and enjoy various wildlife.

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  Remeber great times in debate, particularly the after parties. I am looking forward to seeing you all (or y'all as my wife would say) this weekend. I owe a lot to Mrs. Kerr, Mr. Detweiler and even somehow, Mr. Hughs.
From David:

I have been married for going on 27 years to a Southern Bell.  We have two kids, Courtney (25) and Johnathan (23), a dog, two cats and six horses.  My wife, Be', is my greatest strength, my best friend and the love of my life.  My kids are great, but still waiting to get them successfully and totally "launched."
I went to college and law school at D.U., started my own firm, and after 8 years, went in house with Great-West Life.  I now share the General Counsel role with two other attorneys.
I miss the crowd at TJ.
