What is your fondest memory of high school?:  Hanging out back stage!
From Corinne:
LIFE IS GOOD! Since high school I turned into a total science geek. I got my doctorate in biochem from UCLA, was an assistant professor of chemistry at CU Denver, Associate Prof at CCU and currently I'm teaching at Rock Canyon High School-guiding our youth of Highlands Ranch into the way of the geek! I feel like the luckiest person alive to be able to hang out with teenagers all day! For fun my husband and I enjoy scuba diving, biking (we rode Vail Pass last weekend and survivied!), backpacking (slowly), golf (sort of) and snowshoeing.

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  The theater, the theater...
From Ellen:
My lovely husband, Donald Vancil, and I have been married for over 21 years.  We have no pets, no kids and he is truly a "low maintenance" husband which allows us to participate in many business and civic activities.  I am a partner at the law firm of Berenbaum Weinshienk & Eason in Denver where I practice health law and have the privilege to serve as General Counsel for Children's Hospital and National Jewish Medical and Research Center.  Donald is retired but has a consulting firm which specializes in Medicaid financings.  We are very active in the Denver community serving on the board of directors for several non-profit corporations and professional associations which allows us to give back to the community which has given us so very much.

What is your fondest memory of high school?:  attending the football games, ski trips, driving around in my VW.
From Kathy (Kathryn):

After graduating from Univ. of Wyoming School of Pharmacy I came back to Denver for awhile.  I then moved to Hilo, Hawaii for a number of years. I finally decided to settle back down in Denver.
I enjoy traveling thru out the world. I have taken  Medical Mission trips to Cap Haitien in northern Haiti (urban) with work at Pillatre (rural).  Here we set up, organized and brought in medicine for their medicial clinic.  We also dispensed the medicine and counsel patients on proper use of their medicine- this was done thru a translator.
One of my favorite trips was to Kenya and Tanzania Africa where we were on a photo safari. Another enjoyable trip was the Outback of Australia.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

From Joanie:

After years in the communication industry specializing in out of region negotiations, splitting my time between Chicago and Denver, raising two beautiful sons; Jonathan now 29 and Nickolas, 27 years, earning a masters degree at Northwestern University in the Kellogg Executive MBA program, I decided to try a few new things....  I bought a horse, She-Empress Destiny, (I call her Destiny…). I keep her on a ranch outside of Kiowa, where I go riding weekly.  I spent a lot of time in Arizona, living in Desert Mountain - a golf community in North Scottsdale  where I designed my house and had it aired on Cool House as well as published in Estates West and the Business Journal.  In between I served on several philanthropic boards and hosted many events for our Denver community.   After both of my sons graduated from college, Jon from St. Olaf and Nick from DU Law School, I decided to travel and live for a year along  the Italian Riviera in a small town called PietraSanta – a true  Mecca for artists from all over the world.  I am back in Colorado, finished remodeling the home I am currently living in and enjoying my family and wonderful friends.  I just returned from Paris with my friend Lee Keeler (Hodge) - and yes, she's going to the reunion also!   Thanks to Jimmy Aspinwall for talking me into going to the reunion!  I look forward to seeing my high school friends!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one looking our age. I can't remember which faded first - my eyesight or...could you please repeat the question? Cheryl (not from around here) and I will be married 25 years on 9/1, and we have two lovely (fortunately they look like their mother) daughters, 19 and 17. Our marketing communications agency is celebrating its 28th anniversary. I'm bummed we will be out of town during the Reunion. Hope to see you at the 40th!
